How do I use Revive: Topical (Rx topical hair loss serum)?

Start with applying a small amount of the medication to a test spot on your scalp for 2-3 days to ensure you do not have any allergic reaction. Signs of an allergic reaction may include rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Then, apply 1 milliliter (mL) of the solution, or as prescribed, to the areas of your scalp affected by hair loss. Measure this amount accurately using the marked glass dropper. Press the dropper's flat  top button twice to dispense the required 1 milliliter. Verify the amount in the dropper to ensure it is the correct amount before applying to the scalp.

Gently massage to cover all affected areas. The medication should ideally be left on the scalp to absorb for at least 2 hours before rinsing/shampooing. The formula does not have to be rinsed off between applications. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

If you have diffuse hair loss, you do not have to cover your entire scalp with each application. You can target the most problematic areas with each application and save a small amount of solution to cover other regions on a rotating basis.

Do not apply to the face/body.
